History About The School

Asempah Junior College, founded in April 2008 under Madam Margaret Konadu's registration, began its journey without any pupils. The school welcomed its inaugural batch of five students, affectionately known as the "Magnificent Five": Okumi Andoh, Ishmael Ackah, Silas Kwaw, Helen Kwofie, and Hannah Kwofie. On August 10, 2008, Nana Yaa Jodi Buabae joined, marking the official opening of the school. Starting modestly at Lawyer Jonathan K. M Asempah's residence, the institution has since evolved into one of the most successful primary schools in the Ahanta West Municipality and among the Western Region's finest. In 2009, the school relocated to its current premises and now proudly educates 700 pupils. It boasts a dedicated team of 37 classroom staff, along with security, canteen, sanitation, and kitchen staff. Additionally, there are administrative/finance personnel, a four-member management team, a five-member board, and two nurses.
